Our Mission

The Phillips-Groves Foundation organizes fun physical activities in North Carolina to raise funds to benefit people with physical and developmental disabilities in memory of Jake Phillips and John Groves, two patient advocates for the physically disabled. Your donations go toward raising awareness of those with physical and developmental disabilities, and to encourage those with and without disabilities to stay active for prevention and healing.

Phillips-Groves Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit as designated by the IRS.

Our primary event is the Semi-Annual Golf and Give Tournament held in Concord, NC in October. In the past years, proceeds have gone toward The American Brain Tumor Association & Central Piedmont Community College Scholarship Fund in memory of slain U.S. Soldier and Harrisburg-native Christopher Barton. PLAY. GIVE. FLOURISH!
